Alsace and Burgundy deals from European Waterways

European Waterways, Europe’s largest luxury hotel barge cruising company, welcomes the 2014 season offering a wide selection of cruises taking in the colorful scenery, cuisine and cultural heritage of Europe.

L'Arte de Vivre cruises through historic Burgundy's endless vineyards, countless elegant châteaux, and quaint villages. The intimate eight passenger hotel barge is a great way to see the geographical heart of France.

The LArt de Vivre itinerary features a visit to the elegant Château de Bazoches, a tour of enchanting Auxerre with its magnificent cathedral, and a trip to the medieval village of Vezelay and its hilltop basilica.

A current deal offers £800 off per cabin on the May 18 & 25 cruise departures, as well as £4,800 off the full eight-passenger charter price on May 18.

From mid-June, the stylish 12-passenger hotel barge Panache cruises in the Alsace region of France, where guests enjoy a wonderful and unique mix of French and German cultures, cuisine, architecture, and fine wines. With a large sun deck, a spa pool, and bicycles to ride along the Alsace towpaths, Panache offers passengers a chance to explore historic sites.

Highlights include a visit to the Rene Lalique glass collection and Strasbourg’s gothic Cathedral, as well as a chance to see the unique Arzviller boat elevator, which transports the barge 450 feet up a mountainside.

European Waterways is offering £4,000 off Panaches full-boat charter price on the July 27 and several August departures, and £800 off per cabin on two cruises, departing July 6 and 20.
